Structure
VCD valves are usually composed of 3 main parts:
Valve body: Has a round tubular shape, depending on the type of duct it is installed in. Usually made from galvanized steel or stainless steel.
Valve blades (valve blades): These are metal plates that can rotate or slide to change the cross-section of the air flow.
Control system: Used to adjust the opening angle of the valve leaf. Could be:
Lever/Writer: Manually controlled by hand.
Adjusting air flow: This is the core function, helping to balance and distribute supply and return air flow accurately in the system.
Pressure control: In pressurized systems, VCD valves help maintain stable pressure in specific areas such as clean rooms and operating rooms.

Reduce noise and vibration: With special design, VCD valve can help reduce noise and vibration caused by uneven air flow.
Save energy and operating costs: By adjusting air flow according to actual needs, VCD valve helps optimize HVAC system performance, minimizing energy consumption.
Ensuring air quality: Helps control air flow and humidity levels, minimizing the impact of pollutants such as dust and bacteria, ensuring a healthy living and working environment.
Increase the life and durability of the HVAC system: Controlling stable air flow helps the system operate more efficiently, reducing load and extending the life of the equipment.
Prevent fire spread (for some special types): Some types of VCD valves have integrated thermal fuses that can automatically close when the temperature rises (for example above 70°C - 75°C), preventing smoke and fire from spreading along the duct.

Based on shape and adjustment method, VCD valves are divided into:
Lever/screw VCD valve: Adjusted manually by hand. Suitable for small systems that require simple regulation.
