NRD has a simple structure, including:
Valve body: Usually square or round, made from galvanized steel or stainless steel to ensure durability and corrosion resistance.
Valve leaf (valve leaf): These are specially designed metal plates that can open when air flows through in the desired direction and automatically close when air tries to move in the opposite direction. Some types may have springs to assist in opening/closing.
Valve shaft and bushing: Helps the valve leaflets rotate smoothly and accurately.

Ventilation systems for factories, offices, and apartments: Prevent exhaust gases, odors, or polluted air from outside from entering the interior space.
Odor extraction and exhaust gas treatment system: Ensures that odors and exhaust gases are only sent out without returning.
Supply and return air ducts of the air conditioning system: Maintain stable pressure and prevent heat loss.
Air ducts close to the louver supply and exhaust air: Prevent crosswinds and dust from the outside environment.
Clean rooms, laboratories: Maintain positive or negative pressure environments as required, preventing cross-contamination.

NRD is mainly classified based on shape:
Square NRD: Used for square or rectangular air ducts. This type is popular in many civil and industrial projects.
Round NRD: Used for round air ducts. This type is often installed in throats or round pipe sections.
Depending on the specific requirements of the system, NRD can be manufactured with different sizes and materials (galvanized steel, stainless steel) to suit the environment and operating conditions.

Outstanding advantages
Preventing reverse airflow: This is the most important function, helping to protect the system from negative effects caused by reverse airflow.
Maintain stable pressure: Contributes to pressure balance in areas, especially important for clean rooms or areas requiring tight pressure control.
Protect systems and equipment: Prevent dust and insects from entering, reducing the risk of damage to fans and other equipment.

Improve air quality: Ensure air circulates in the right direction, limiting pollution and unpleasant odors from returning.
Save energy: Minimize the loss of conditioned air, contributing to saving energy for the system.
Automatic operation: Most NRD valves operate automatically based on differential pressure, without requiring power or constant manual control, making operation easy and reliable.
