Fireproof EI SMD panels often have a multi-layer structure to ensure long-term fire resistance and insulation:

Galvanized steel layer inside: Is the main load-bearing layer of the pipe, usually has a minimum thickness of 0.75mm (can vary depending on requirements and standards).
SMD fireproof panel layer: This is the most important layer, covered outside the corrugated iron layer. The thickness of the SMD sheet will determine the EI fire resistance limit of the tube (for example: EI30, EI45, EI60, EI90, EI120). SMD panels have one rough side and one smooth side, in which the smooth side is usually the heat-resistant surface, in direct contact with fire.

Outer galvanized corrugated iron layer (optional): Some types of pipes have an additional thin outer galvanized corrugated iron layer to protect the SMD layer and increase aesthetics.

Steel flange system: Steel flanges (usually galvanized TDF flanges) are used to connect pipe sections, ensuring the tightness and sturdiness of the entire system.
