Tozen fireproof panels are a type of material specifically designed to be heat resistant and prevent fire spread.

  • Main ingredients: Tozen panels are made from inorganic materials such as Portland cement, superfine sand, cellulose fibers, lime, perlite, vermiculite and mica. The combination of these components creates a material with outstanding fire resistance.
  • Outstanding features:
    • High fire resistance: Resistant to high temperatures for a long time (up to 150 minutes at 600°C or 180 minutes at 550°C), does not emit toxic smoke when burning.
    • Waterproof and moisture-proof: This is a big advantage compared to conventional plasterboard, making Tozen panels more durable in humid environments and free of mold.
    • High mechanical durability: Ability to withstand force, prevent layer separation, does not break when screws are fired, helping to increase the durability and longevity of the duct system.
    • Good sound insulation: Contributes to reducing noise in the system.
    • Environmentally friendly: Does not contain toxic substances.

EI fireproof air ducts covered with Tozen panels are widely used in projects requiring high fire safety standards, including:

  • Emergency smoke extraction system: In high-rise buildings, apartments, hotels, shopping centers, cinemas.
  • Ventilation system in escape areas: Ensure escape routes are not penetrated by smoke and fire.
  • Workshops, factories, warehouses: Especially places with high risk of fire and explosion.
    Basement, garage.
  • Other large public and civil works require strict fire safety requirements.

The basic structure of EI fireproof air ducts covered with Tozen panels is similar to other types of fireproof air ducts in sheet form, including:

  • Inner galvanized corrugated iron layer: Is the main frame and load-bearing layer of the air duct, usually with a thickness of 0.75mm or more depending on size and technical requirements.
  • Tozen fireproof sheet layer: This is the most important layer of material, covered outside the corrugated iron layer. The thickness of the Tozen sheet (usually from 5mm to 20mm) and the number of coating layers will determine the EI fire resistance limit of the pipe (for example: EI30, EI60, EI90, EI120).
  • Connection flange system: Use steel flanges (usually galvanized TDF flanges) to connect pipe sections, ensuring tightness, solidity and synchronization of the entire system.

Fireproof air ducts using Tozen panels bring many outstanding advantages:

  • Optimal fire resistance and insulation: Ensures integrity is maintained and effectively prevents heat transfer during fire, meeting strict EI standards.
  • Moisture-proof, water-proof and termite-proof: Thanks to the special material composition,
  • Tozen panels are able to withstand wet environments, extending the life of the system.
  • High durability: Resists corrosion, oxidation, withstands impact and mechanical impacts.
  • Safe and environmentally friendly: Does not emit toxic smoke when burning.
  • Flexibility in application: Can be used for many different types of projects.
