Air duct accessories – Air duct turn pins

Air duct flaps are often made from materials such as galvanized steel (most popular due to reasonable price), stainless steel (SUS 201, 304 - used in environments requiring high hygiene or corrosive properties), or powder-coated black steel (used for industrial dust and smoke extraction systems). The thickness of the material will depend on the pipe size and system requirements.

Airflow division: This is the most basic use of the split foot. It helps divide the airflow from a large duct into smaller ducts, leading to multiple locations requiring ventilation or air conditioning.
Optimize space and costs: Instead of having to use many separate pipes, split legs help reduce the number of pipes needed, save installation space and reduce material costs.

Adjusting air flow: Some types of bypasses can be combined with air flow dampers to control the amount of air entering the branches.
