Motorized Fire Damper
Condition: In stock
Origin: Vietnam
Brand: Eusteel
Valve body and valve leaf: Made from high heat-resistant materials (thick galvanized steel, stainless steel), specially designed and lined with specialized insulation materials (such as ceramic wool, mineral fiber, fireproof gypsum board) inside to ensure thermal insulation (standard I).
Control motor (Actuator): Attached directly to the valve shaft, responsible for opening/closing control. This motor is designed to operate stably in a high temperature environment for a certain period of time and often has a spring return function to automatically close the valve when power is lost or an activation signal is received.
Sensor (optional): Can integrate temperature and smoke sensors to activate the engine.
Normal mode: The valve leaf is in the open position (or depending on system requirements) to allow normal air flow. Engine is in standby state.
Fire detection:
The fire alarm system detects smoke/heat and sends an electrical signal to the motor of the MFD EI valve.
Or, if there is an auxiliary thermal fuse, when the local temperature in the duct reaches the threshold, the fuse will blow.
Activate valve closing: The motor receives the signal and quickly controls the valve leaflets to close completely.
Fireproof and thermal insulation: Thanks to its structure and insulation, the MFD EI valve will create a solid barrier, preventing fire and smoke from spreading through the ductwork, while maintaining low temperatures on the non-flammable side for certified times (EI 30, EI 60, EI 90, EI 120, etc.).
